Meet Katrina, Sales Operations Specialist and one of the friendly faces behind Interra Global’s operations team. With a background as versatile as her personality, Katrina brings energy, adaptability, and a people-first attitude to everything she does—and we’re lucky to have her.
Katrina’s career journey started as a clinical dietitian before growing into a general manager role for over a decade. From there, she took on multi-site leadership roles, managing as many as seven locations in Chicago’s Loop. Her next adventure took her to Big Blue Swim School, where she helped open the largest urban pool in the country, eventually being promoted to regional manager overseeing five corporate pools, eight managers, and 100 employees. Along the way, she hired our very own Patty, and Katrina found her way to us through Patty’s move back to Interra Global.
From the moment she interviewed, Katrina knew her role here was a fit. She was searching for a company that lives its values, supports its people, and respects work-life balance—something fundamental to her as a mom. Add in the science of our products and the whole company’s love for pets and kids, and she was sold. Now, she gets to do what she loves: support customers directly, build strong relationships, and help connect our custom solutions to consistent service. As part of her role, she also keeps the office stocked with supplies, snacks, and spirit—often organizing team birthday lunches alongside Patty (whom she’s thrilled to share an office with again).
Katrina describes Interra Global as values-driven, people-oriented, and open to suggestions—something she deeply appreciates. She thrives on change, learns fast, and brings years of leadership and customer care experience into her current role. When she’s not working, you might find her catching up on sleep or dancing around her living room, except in October when she’ll be hunting for the perfect Halloween costume and decorating her home. Halloween is her favorite holiday, after all.
And here’s a fun fact you might not know—Katrina was a ballerina for many years. Through the self-care it takes to be a ballerina, she discovered she has four extra bones in her feet thanks to all that dancing. Her favorite Interra product?
