mSORB-APGIII adsorbent is specifically developed for air separation plant pre-purification units (APPU). mSORB-APGIII has a 50% higher capacity for dynamic carbon dioxide compared to the original mSORB-APG. Even at the low CO2Â conditions, mSORB-APGIII still has good adsorbent capacity. For new unit designs, the use of APGIII can reduce the APPU size and lower plant capital and operating costs. mSORB-APGIII can also be used for plant revamps to reduce energy consumption or increase plant production capability.
