Interra Global would like to introduce Kacey Castaneda, the most recent addition to the Operations team. Kacey joined the team in October 2021 as an Operations Specialist. She spends her days mainly processing inventory orders; these are our smaller orders shipping directly to customers. Kacey is also the voice of our primary office phone line, so anyone calling in with a general inquiry will first experience Kacey’s fabulous customer service. She has spent the past year learning everything she can about the company, and answering the phones has offered the opportunity to interface with every department in the organization.
Before coming to Interra, Kacey worked in the retail world, specifically in hardware and home improvement, as a manager for Ace Hardware and Home Depot stores. So it’s no wonder she is excellent at handling customer situations – drawing on her empathy and years of customer service experience to solve problems. While she can’t solve every problem alone, one of her favorite parts of working for Interra is the close-knit employee culture. Everyone is willing to step up and lend a hand whenever needed.
When she found the ad on Indeed for the Operations Specialist position, Kacey was looking to return to a smaller company. Strong company culture drew her in, and now she’s been with our growing team for just over a year. In that time, she has enjoyed watching the team grow around her, with three new team members hired within six months of her employment.
With Halloween right around the corner, it’s only fitting that we spotlight Kacey right before her favorite holiday. She’s made a hobby of decorating for the spooky evening. In years past, her home has garnered the attention of her neighbors and Halloween decoration viewers from far and wide. In true Halloween-loving fashion, she’s also a big fan of horror films and shares them with anyone interested. So if you need a spooky movie recommendation, she’ll have at least a dozen for you.
