cSPHERE® A25 Ceramic Support Balls

cSPHERE A25 is Interra Global's line of inert ceramic support balls: silica-alumina ceramic spheres built to hold catalyst and adsorbent bed material in place and keep it evenly loaded above the support plate. Rated for continuous service up to 325°C (617°F), it's Interra's standard recommendation for general-purpose bed support.

Where cSPHERE A25 Is Used

cSPHERE A25 ceramic support balls sit underneath the active bed material in a fixed-bed vessel, anywhere the process needs the catalyst or adsorbent held evenly above the support plate and free of channeling. Typical applications include:

Molecular sieve and desiccant beds (ethanol dehydration, natural gas dehydration, and similar drying processes)
Activated alumina and silica gel beds
Catalyst beds in petrochemical and refining service
