Park Ridge, Illinois – Interra Global has announced the addition of Joyce Duval to its Logistics Team. Duval has more than 25 years of experience, where she spent most of her career in the International Logistics Department at Ace Hardware and most recently as a Senior Foreign Specialist performing on-site training at sales locations in Hong Kong, Shanghai, Panama, and Dubai. During her long tenure, Duval was involved in customer service, logistics, accounts receivable and accounts payable, training, process documentation and procedures.
Duval will serve as a logistics coordinator, where she will act as a liaison between Interra Global and its freight forwarders, ocean carriers, customs agents, and overseas intermediaries. She will frequently collaborate with the sales, purchasing, and operations teams while monitoring container movement of international shipments, working through issues and options with the logistics providers and reconciling freight invoices and billing issues. As the logistics coordinator, Duval will be playing a crucial role in ensuring Interra Global’s customers receive their material in a cost-efficient and timely manner.
