Interra Global Returns to SOAR 2024 in Phoenix

PARK RIDGE, Ill., February 21, 2024 - Interra Global will exhibit at SOAR 2024: Technical Solutions for Resource Management, April 15-18 in Phoenix. SOAR is the spring technical conference of SWANA, the foremost association in solid waste management, and draws professionals from every discipline of the resource management community.

From booth 311, the company will showcase a new safety decking package for the Vacuum Adsorption Vessel (VAV), an enhancement introduced since last year's show that is also available as a retrofit for VAVs already in the field. A 1:20 scale model of the VAV, in its base form and with the complete decking package, will be on display alongside FerroSorp® SK and SLH iron hydroxide media.

FerroSorp is a pelletized iron hydroxide media that removes hydrogen sulfide (H2S) from gas at digesters, landfills, and other gas-producing installations, with a porosity that gives it a high loading capacity. The VAV is a bulk media vessel built for even gas flow across the entire bed, so the media loads uniformly.

Interra Global has attended SWANA conferences since 2019 and exhibited at last year's SOAR in Atlanta. "Landfill and digester operators deal with H2S every day, and SOAR is where they come to solve it. We built the VAV to get the most out of FerroSorp, and this year we are bringing the upgrade that looks after the people around the vessel: a safety decking package that retrofits to VAVs already in the field. The scale model shows exactly what you get, base vessel and full package, side by side," said Jay Skiersch, Interra Global Vice President.
