Interra Global Sponsors the 2022 North American Renewable Natural Gas Map

PARK RIDGE, Ill., December 14, 2022 - Interra Global became a sponsor of the North American Renewable Natural Gas Map with the map's 2022 edition. BBI International and the Coalition for Renewable Natural Gas introduced the map with its 2020 edition to chart the renewable natural gas (RNG) facilities operating or under construction in the United States and Canada. The 2022 edition lists 255 facilities with their operating details.

Interra Global sponsors the map to promote knowledge of RNG and to support its many partners in the biogas industry. Of the 255 facilities on the 2022 map, the company works with more than 60 percent. It pairs FerroSorp® H₂S removal media with the Vacuum Adsorption Vessel (VAV), its bulk media vessel, for H₂S removal at dairies, landfills, and food waste sites.

Interra Global's work in biogas began in 2015, when it introduced FerroSorp to the U.S. RNG market at a handful of sites. The company introduced the VAV in 2020, and demand has grown more than 200 percent since the first installation. FerroSorp and the VAV are now supplied together to sites across the United States.
