Interra Global Returns to the 2026 Iowa Renewable Fuels Summit

The ethanol drying grade of 3A molecular sieve and the ceramic balls that support its beds come to booth 4 at the Prairie Meadows Event Center in Altoona.

PARK RIDGE, Ill., January 25, 2026 - Interra Global will exhibit at the 2026 Iowa Renewable Fuels Summit on February 5 at the Prairie Meadows Event Center in Altoona, Iowa. The one-day Summit, hosted by the Iowa Renewable Fuels Association, runs from 7:30 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. and is free to attend with registration.

The 2026 Summit is Interra Global's second, and its first since 2022, when the company exhibited in Des Moines. From booth 4, the company will present mSORB® 3A EDG Molecular Sieve, its 3A grade made for ethanol dehydration service, and cSPHERE® A25 Ceramic Support Balls, the inert bed support typically loaded beneath the sieve.

The sieve's nominal 3 angstrom pore takes in water and turns away ethanol, so a dehydration bed can carry ethanol from the still past the azeotrope, where distillation alone stops, to anhydrous product. mSORB 3A EDG is typically specified for pressure swing and vacuum swing units, on new beds and on change-outs. cSPHERE A25, Interra Global's house brand of inert ceramic balls, holds the sieve bed in place above the support plate and distributes flow through it. The company recommends the grade for beds kept at or below 325°C (617°F), a range that typically takes in ethanol dehydration units, and quotes it by size against a plant's loading drawing.

"mSORB 3A EDG is the ethanol drying grade of 3A sieve we supply for the dehydration units at fuel ethanol plants, and cSPHERE A25 is the support layer we load under it. It has been four years since our last Summit, and we are glad to be back in Iowa with both at booth 4," said Jay Skiersch, Co-CEO of Interra Global.

The association bills the Summit as the Midwest's largest biofuels policy conference and its trade show as the second-largest biofuels trade show in the country. The 2026 program, under the theme Renewable Fuels at Work, takes up new markets for ethanol and biodiesel, from higher blends to sustainable aviation fuel, in a state the association counts at 42 ethanol refineries with 5.5 billion gallons of annual capacity. Interra Global's team will be at booth 4 throughout the day.

Attendees who want to plan a conversation with the team ahead of the Summit can reach Interra Global's sales team at [email protected].
