Interra Global Celebrates Four Years of American Biogas Council Membership

PARK RIDGE, Ill., August 1, 2026 - Interra Global is celebrating its fourth anniversary as a member of the American Biogas Council (ABC), marking four years of industry involvement, collaboration, and continued growth in the biogas space. 

In 2022, Interra Global was introduced to the American Biogas Council as an exhibitor at Biogas Americas, an emerging event in this growing industry. Held in Las Vegas, the conference and expo was the event's first in-person production. For the Interra Global team, it was more than a success - it was the start of something beautiful. Three months later, Interra Global joined the American Biogas Council and is now one of 406 members. 

The American Biogas Council (ABC) is the trade association championing the entire biogas industry and working across America to grow the biogas market. The organization represents companies working to recycle organic waste into clean, locally made energy and fertilizer. The ABC’s mission is to maximize the economic and environmental benefits of biogas while advancing sustainable solutions for energy, agriculture, and waste management. 

With that mission at its core, Interra Global is a natural fit within the ABC community. Biogas is a large part of the company’s business, and Interra Global is committed to both building within the industry and supporting its continued growth. 

Since 2020, Interra Global has become more involved in the biogas industry year over year, while the industry itself has continued to grow. For the company, being involved isn’t just about opportunities to grow the business; it’s about helping grow the whole biogas industry. That work makes a difference for the planet—and for people. 

Interra Global’s core values are at the heart of its business, and making a difference can take many forms. It means improving the lives of employees and customers while working in an industry where the company can positively impact the world. 

Interra Global's biogas products cover large parts of the United States and extend into Canada and Mexico. Since joining the ABC in 2022, Interra Global has doubled its biogas product offerings, including the addition of the ADS™ Automated Powder-to-Slurry Dosing System and IronMaxx™ digester additive in 2026. 

Through ongoing knowledge gained through ABC membership, Interra Global can inform product development and improvements while also sharing knowledge and experience with fellow members. 

This commitment to collaboration is also reflected in the biogas team’s involvement in ABC committee work, including the legislative and young professionals committees. Participation in these committees allows the team to stay informed and engaged with the day-to-day news, developments, and minutiae of the biogas industry while connecting with others who share a commitment to its future. 

Throughout the year, the ABC offers training and certifications both virtually and in person. The Interra Global team has had opportunities to both attend and speak in these settings. 

The ABC also produces two major events each year: Biogas Americas and Business of Biogas. Biogas Americas is the largest biogas trade show in the U.S. and is hosted in the spring. Business of Biogas is the executive conference the ABC hosts in early fall. 

In 2026, Interra Global’s biogas team will attend Business of Biogas for the second year, and earlier this year, the team exhibited at Biogas Americas for the fifth time. This time around, the team put its best foot forward and brought the ADS™ to the expo hall floor. Standing 16 feet tall, it was impossible to miss. 

The past four years of ABC membership have brought opportunities to become more involved and connect with other industry leaders in ways the Interra Global biogas team could not have imagined. Interra Global is honored to be part of the American Biogas Council and will continue working to help the industry grow alongside the company’s own growth. 

For Interra Global, four years of membership represents more than a milestone. It represents continued investment in an industry with the potential to make a meaningful difference for people, the environment, and the future of sustainable energy.
