Interra Global supplies PROX-SVERS T-86 ceramic balls, Christy Catalytics' inert support media for catalyst and adsorbent beds. T-86 is a silica-alumina sphere with a maximum use temperature of 1800°F (982°C). Water absorption at or below 0.9 wt % and hardness above 8 Mohs give it a hard, low-porosity surface, and T-86 has passed both UOP pressure shock and UOP thermal shock resistance testing.
