Everyone say hello to Jack Surisook; his role is Sales Operations. He joined the Interra Global Sales Team in May of 2022. Before Interra Global, Jack was a project manager in the window and glazing historical retrofit industry. He managed construction projects renovating landmark buildings, working with suppliers, factories, and customers. The skills he developed have translated well to his latest career venture with Interra Global. In his lightly edited words, Jack spends his days getting stuff built, delivering on time, and navigating the supply chain – many of the same hurdles he learned to jump early in his career.
To speak more on his role, Jack not only upholds Sales Operations but is also a member of the newly created VAV Manufacturing sub-team. Support for the Sales Team is a big job that sometimes includes pumping up trade show couches and opening boxes for the Marketing Team, aside from his regular duties.
Jack was looking for a company with a similar feel to the position he’d left. He wanted a close-knit team that spent time collaborating on projects and getting to know one another. It’s almost as if his career set him up to succeed in this Sales Operations role. Jack has even taken up classes outside work hours to get accustomed to the industry and the new tools he’s bringing to the team.
One of Jack’s favorite things about working for Interra Global is the wellspring of snacks and coffee always on offer. It also doesn’t hurt that the office is close enough for him to bike the commute in warm weather. On the professional side, he’s enjoying the supportive nature of the whole team. It’s a culture of supporting ideas and taking initiative. Not only has Jack felt the support and welcoming nature of the group, but those working closely with him have felt the same in return. He fit right in.
When he’s not working for Interra Global, he spends much time being a dad. He is the father of two boys with big personalities and even bigger hearts, so he really has his hands full.
