aSORB® ACTIVATED ALUMINA

aSORB is a synthetically produced aluminum oxide in a smooth, spherical form. It has a high crush strength, is highly porous, and can have surface areas of up to 300 m2/g, making it an excellent desiccant for both liquids and gases. Our aSORB activated alumina will preferentially adsorb highly polar molecules.

TYPICAL APPLICATIONS
  • Compressed Air Dryers Desiccant
  • Liquefied Natural Gas Drying
  • Natural Gas Drying
  • Removal of degradations acids from transformer oils, lubricating oils, and refrigerants
  • Water purification to remove fluoride, arsenic, and selenium
