Today, we’re shining a spotlight on Jenna Eggert, one of Interra Global’s talented Operations Specialists. She joined our team in May of 2024, bringing a love of problem-solving and a knack for nuance.
Before joining the team at Interra Global, Jenna worked for the Park Ridge Country Club (PRCC), where she started as a seasonal hire during college. After completing her degree in finance at the University of Dayton, Jenna moved home while hiring was still in a strange place during the pandemic recovery, which led her back to PRCC, where she transitioned into a full-time management role, overseeing two departments built of 40+ employees.
Her leadership background and some impeccable timing put Jenna in the right place to end up in the right seat at Interra Global. It was an opportunity she couldn’t pass up. The RNG aspect of the business intrigued her, and she was amazed to find a company with such a global reach operating out of Park Ridge. However, her immediate connection with the team during the interview process made her decision to join the team easy.
As an Operations Specialist, Jenna coordinates larger truckload orders, particularly for FerroSorp®. She spends her days working closely with both the Sales and Logistics teams to ensure smooth operations from quoting to shipping.
Jenna loves a good challenge. She finds every order to be a unique puzzle, allowing her to problem-solve and determine the best solutions for customers; this variety keeps her days dynamic and engaging. She also appreciates the culture of collaboration and approachability across all Interra Global teams. It’s an organization where anyone and everyone will do what they can to give you the answer you need or tell you where to find it. It’s an environment of support and teamwork.
While Jenna’s work demands attention to detail, you might not know she has a creative side. She always has a great idea on the back burner, but lately, she spends much of her free time reading and playing pickleball with friends. She did mention that those friends still don’t quite understand what we do here at Interra Global, but the team has Jenna’s back on that, too. Here is our About Us page if you’re still unsure.
